Youth Services Burea Welcome to the YSB Website

Welcome to the Youth Services Bureau website.

It is our hope that this site will serve as a resource for youth, families, community members, and referral sources alike.

This website contains descriptions and referral forms for each program/service that the Bureau offers.

If you are not sure which program or service would apply to your particular situation, we have prepared a special section called "Frequently Asked Questons" to help you decide. However, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

If we can not help you, chances are that we can point you in the direction of someone who can.

Personal Statement

We believe that our youth today are living in an increasingly difficult world. Technology has provided many wonderful advances, but unfortunately, it has also provided many a myriad of avenues for bombarding our young people with negative messages and influences. As if being an adolescent wasn’t already difficult enough!

Of course these added pressures and negative influences on our young people also make the job of parenting that much harder. These negative influences and difficult situations sometimes cause youth and families to get off track.

At Youth Services Bureau, it is our goal to provide the tools, accountability and support that will assist youth and their families with getting back on track and staying there.

Youth Services Bureau Sign

The picture of the Youth Services Bureau is featured on our home page. The actual sign hangs in the entry way to our offices.

Many thanks to Lisa-Marie Sposta, Coordinator of the agency’s Out of School Suspension Program, for the hours that she invested in the concept and creation of the Youth Services Bureau sign.  We would also like to thank the students from several area schools who assisted Lisa with the completion of this project.
